We are delighted to share the success story of the recent Start and Improve Your Business (SIYB) Training of Trainers (ToT) program conducted at the Afghan National Association for Adult Education (ANAFAE). Over the course of three weeks, from November 25th to December 15th, 8 dedicated candidates, including 1 female and 7 males, were nominated from X-perts and Community Learning Centers (CLCs) to undergo this intensive training.
The primary objective of the SIYB ToT program was to equip these candidates with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively deliver the SIYB program, developed by the International Labor Organization. The journey of the candidates was meticulously documented, covering various stages from the initial assessment of their baseline knowledge to the practical application of acquired skills in training settings.
Results: The outcomes of the training were truly remarkable. Upon completion, participants showcased their ability to handle diverse tasks, significantly enhancing their proficiency in delivering SIYB effectively. The program not only broadened their knowledge but also delved into different aspects outlined in the SIYB training plan. As a result, these individuals now possess the essential knowledge and skills needed to conduct SIYB entrepreneurship training with confidence and expertise.
